Brwn Skin is a study in tone, texture, and multiplicity. Hand-rolled paper beads in layered browns and warm tans are woven into a sculpted, wire-wrapped frame built entirely by hand. Each bead is placed intentionally, creating depth and variation rather than uniformity.
The palette is meant to reflect the many shades Black people come in, without hierarchy or comparison. Soft, grounded, and quietly radiant, this piece honors difference as beauty. No two are identical. This is wearable artwork that centers presence, not explanation.
