Pon de Riddim is a sculptural meditation on rhythm. They are the architecture of sound translated into form.

Layered coils and ribbed arcs rise from a circular base of saturated color, suggesting basslines, call-and-response, and the embodied memory of movement. The raised spirals hold tension and release, while the radial elements echo percussion .

Hand-sculpted from upcycled cardboard and magazine paper, each segment is cut, rolled, stacked, and sealed into dimensional relief. The glossed surface preserves both texture and vibration, allowing color to pulse beneath structural form.

These are not flat compositions.

They are built. Constructed. Composed.

Pon de Riddim sits at the intersection of music and monument. Wearable sculpture that honors the lineage of Black sound, circular time, and movement that begins in the body before it ever reaches the ear.
