Part of In the Body, Softly — a series exploring femininity, rest, and embodied joy.
.
This piece asks a simple but radical question: What if joy lived in the body first?
Where Joy Lives captures a figure mid-dance, mid-release…being present, grounded, and free from performance. Folded paper forms trace the curve of motion, celebrating femininity as something felt, not proven.
Against a calm blue ground, the figure becomes a reminder that joy does not require permission. It is accessed through movement, breath, and play.
